Maybe it's because I was born here in the warmest year of the late 20th century, but I don't mind the heat and humidity. 65 F is still cool to me: sweats and long sleeved sweatshirt, jacket and hat if I go out. People have such differing weather tolerances, don't they? I've just now baked out Winter's chill in my bones.

I think one of the differences too is in CA we had high temps but everywhere you go has air conditioning. Whereas here nobody has it because no one thinks you should need air conditioning in WA
