Hi all - damp and very windy here. Trying to decide what to eat tonight, can't make up my mind. The fridge reveals chicken, prawns or pastrami. I have new potatoes and the usual selection of veg and salad. Ho hum. My broody Martha is still sitting - if all the ifs are not ifs then baby chicks due Friday/Saturday (oh, how excited am I?) See you at quiz tonight. |

PP i am a carer and used to go to a monthly meeting, you learn more from other carers than the authotities. Haven't been able to go this year due to work but hope to attend again soon. Emma , how exciting that you have finished work , get packed, clean up then try to relax  |

Hi all. Today is my dad's birthday  He received his gifts and card in the mail yesterday so I'm happy they made it in time! I am home alone today as K has decided on another driving expedition to conquer another fish related project. I know I shouldn't worry as he's an adult about him going somewhere by himself....He won't be back till late this evening. On the good side he took the dogs with him for company and the house is deliciously peaceful and quiet. Kuan Yin is tearing around the house playing tigress of the jungle, she's so ferocious   Kinda gloomy and overcast today. With the place to myself will catch up on my quiet time reading and embroidery. Maybe even watch some girly movies that I know K hates It's my only chance to watch a movie without explosions, lol! |
