Little Cindy-Smudge has passed

Hi, I don't know if you remember the little cat that my sister-in-law's mum found as a stray and took to her heart. We called her Smudge originally, as she had a pretty black mark on her nose, later Joan changed her name to Cindy.

This little one suffered lots of digestion problems, intermittent bouts of vomit and diarrhoea, didn't gain weight despite steroid injections and the problem was never diagnosed by blood tests etc.

While I was in America, my sis in law told me that puss had a dramatic turn for the worse, and that the decision to have her PTS was hard but for the best To the end she was affectionate gentle but really this little one was no longer able to sustain any quality of life. RIP Cindy, you gave a lot of love to us for a short time, left paw prints on our hearts.

She looked like quite an old puss. Still, it's always a sad day when we loose one of our little furry friends

Awww, very sad. She looked to be a cat that knew her own mind. Glad she was loved and looked after to the end.
