Daily Thread - Saturday

My my what a busy lot you all must be today - hope you're having a really good time, whatever you're doing!

I have had a productive morning as OH and I went out and ordered our new bedroom carpet and curtains too! Really good to get that sorted. The painting will probably be finished next Wednesday/Thursday and then we will wait for the carpet obviously before moving our double wardrobe back in and then start stripping all the stuff out of the lounge and put all that in our bedroom in readiness for decorating that room. All sounds like it's back on schedule ....... but there will be a little gremlin in there somewhere!

Merlin is still scratching himself - mainly at night. I have flea sprayed and Frontlined him again at the end of last week. Don't really want him on another course of steroids so soon and I am not absolutely sure that he's flea free. I have ordered some Capstar tablets, but they are currently out of stock, there must be general flea problems around this year. I thought I had read somewhere about putting Rescue Remedy on cat's ears to help de stress, so I've done that this morning - just one drop on my hand and a little bit on the tip of each ear. Predictably perhaps Merlin is fast asleep!!!! (But not scratching!)

Re: Daily Thread - Saturday

Had my nails done this morning and then a quick Carluccios lunch with OH and the boys.

Not much else to report; we've clipped the hedge in the back garden and OH is about to do some odd jobs that need doing in the garden.

Tomorrow I've arranged for Dominik's horse riding lesson He was adamant that it is what he wanted for his birthday . . . so we'll see how that goes

Hi, Angie! Sounds as if the redecorating is coming along well; fingers crossed that the gremlins avoid your house...have Merlin weave a little anti-gremlin spell! Hope the trick works with the itching, poor old dear!

No news here; the usual Saturday library run. The last of my iris came yesterday afternoon, so will plant them after, lunch. Mostly cloudy and cooler today, 25C, but they are not rain clouds, unfortunately...still bone dry here

Enjoy the day...

Re: Daily Thread - Saturday

Been quite a busy and productive day today. Weeded & generally tidied the garden, front & back, vacuumed and washed both cars, (mine and OH's) did a bit of shopping & had my eyebrows tinted & waxed!!. Foster lad and I took dogs for a nice long run. About to have a relaxing bath, then dinner and watch a bit of TV.

Yola, hope Domi enjoyed his riding lesson. Good to start them young! Angie, I bet the bedroom will look fab when it is finished!
