My present too thee mother on her fifitieth

Well, next thursday plays host to my mums 50th Birthday..and i was sitting with my older sister earlier, much older may i add-shes started to go grey before our mother!, anyway and we were discussing what to get mom for her birthday...she has everything, you could buy her clothes-she wont wear them, jewellery-she's got by the bag load, n all that jazz..so, whilst pitching our money together were having a raised decking patio put down the bottom of the garden-should take up a fair bit of room, and going to throw a patio heater on there aswell
She's always complaining about having nowhere decent to sit in the garden..and that the bottom of the garden is 'boggy, therefore a waste as i would need bloomin marine plants to survive in there' *said in a thickset midlands accent*.
So this should be the perfect thing.
Just not sure exactly how its going to be sprung as a surprise
Its shockingly costly for what it is..and the labour n such.

That's a lovely thought Luke!
Does that mean the nasty neighbour thing is all over now? I certainly hope so

Thanks Ladies-shall keep you updated.
DM-it isn't 'over' as such..but we all live our lives and ignore one n other, and just get on with things Isn't ideal..but neither is leaving our home due to it.

I think that's a grand present! It can be so hard to get something right, but you're obviously listened and come up with just the thing!

Can you send her off somewhere for a few days?
