Does life get more better than this?

Went out for a 5 mile walk after work today (more training) and I walked to the next village, doing so I have to walk past a wooded area. Well I saw something and thought "what was that?" So I walked back and in the wood, about 30 foot away from me were 5 deer, these were large deer three had large antlers, tried to take a photo with my phone but scared them and they ran off into a clearing, took another few photos but I dont think they would be very clear.

Totally made my day seeing them, utterly beautiful creatures just a shame I spooked them.

How lovely Emma but pity you didn't get a clear snap of them......

Makes training all the more worthwhile when you come across sights like that!

I hope the training is all going to plan

we know they live near the woods Fran, just didn't think I would see them up so close once we counted 28 of them, when we were out on our bikes

Training is going well Mags, although last week was a bit of a disaster because of the weather and I wasn't very well.

It made for a fantastic walk today, saw deer, rabbits, pheasants, squirrels, horses...

Going to the Ideal Home show on Friday so we will spend most of our day walking

Thats lovely Emma, a similar thing happened to me some years ago with a huge Stag. At least the picture will forever be imprinted in your memories.
