Miki, it's mandantory here; every three years. But not enforced in any way, Leia is 13, had her rabies shot as a kitten, and as she is an indoor only cat, never again. But the retirement complex I've moved into requires it, I have no choice. Spent part of the evening researching reactions to the rabies vaccine.... Worry, worry, worry .... |

 But I am sure she will be fine, don't worry. Usually over-vaccinated animals develop some negative symptoms, but yours probably wont, cause she was not over-vaccinated...(I vaccinate mine every 3 yrs cause we travell out of country and they are OK, no bad reactions) I am sending you good vibes!  |

Thanks, all. I'm probably worrying unnecessarily, but a vet visit is so stressful for both of us, and she picks up on my reaction, which doesn't help .... |

Yes, I've seen it in Whole Foods, but never bought any ... normally we both lead a very stress-free life!  Too late now! |
