Re: Daily Thread.....Tuesday...

Afternoon all, it's a rather gloomy day here ...... just solid grey cloud

My daughter popped in this morning for a coffee and a natter, she told me that they had booked up for Euro Disney in the May holidays ....... I hope the weather is nice over there at that time of the year.
When she was about to leave she very kindly told me that she has a very bad sore throat, feels heady and slightly dizzy and thinks she has flu coming!!! Thanks Sue, that's all I need to catch at the moment!

Re: Daily Thread.....Tuesday...

Well, I am back home from work, I need to pop to the shops but Daughter is not well enough to come along, so will have to wait until my Son comes in.

I am still feeling very yuck, feel guilty about leaving my Daughter again tomorrow, she will not be at School again, but feel awful if I let work down, dont suppose I should even be there feeling like this though its a tough one.

I could do with some storage boxes, I am wondering where my nearest £1 shop is.

Enjoy the rest of your day all x

Re: Daily Thread.....Tuesday...

Well, I'm hunkered down inside watching the snow...no shopping today! Started snowing about 8 am, supposed to continue until about 5 pm ( 1-3 in. accumulation,) then turn to freezing rain and continue until dawn tomorrow! Predicted 1/4 to 1/2 in. if ice! So possible downed power lines, horrors! No heat, no Catsey!! Afraid Onyx won't come in the snow, but will go out at lunch and call her. I hate being stuck indoors!

Sounds nasty over there Eileen best place is indoors in the warm. I hope Onyx makes the effort to get to you for her lunch, I'm sure she will if she can now..

Keeping my fingers crossed that your power lines don't come down as I get the feeling you will be a bit lost without Catsey now
Take care and keep warm........

Re: Daily Thread.....Tuesday...

Thanks, all! The freezing rain is supposed to be overnight, so we shall see, powerwise! Onyx came, bless her, in all the snow...I called and she came running across the street to her feeding place...bet she wondered if she'd get a warm meal today! Snow has tapered off quite a bit; hope she'll come for her tea. Patio too snowy to fill the bird feeder, but put a fresh suet cake out yesterday so they do have something to eat. And you're absolutely right, I would be lost without Catsey ! Mags: hope you do not get the flu...take some extra Vitamin C!!
