My other furpets

Well apart from the cats i have the 2 dogs, 2 rabbits and the guinea-pig, so i thought i would show you pictures.......naturally
first we have Polly, our aging JRT a doting lass and Elsa's adopted mummy

Then we have Florrie a 9 month old Westie cross Dandie Dinmont, generally a thick bear cub of a dog

then our 2 rabbits,
Speckles a rather over blotched English rabbit.....

And her son Sparkles, English cross NEthie dwarf

and our wee guinea-pig Ginty

hope you all enjoyed

edited to add, we did have a fair few more rabbits and g.pigd till April passed, a fox killed them, along with our beloved indian runner ducks..........

Re: My other furpets

Great piccies Luke....Indian runners are my favourite ducks....

Must admit Speckles doesn't look like a traditional English rabbit. I have two English, one black spotted - Smudge and one brown spotted Fudge....

Here they are..

Re: My other furpets

rabbits Fran, yes Speckles is an English just not a correct one as i would say, i bred her myself once upon a time and for some reason she was born with far to many marking, she could never be shown and as for breeding that was a no go as her offspring would be to heavily marked, but it didnt matter when she accidentally got to a nethie buck of ours.
The vet said its just a genetic thing that can often occur, like in Dalmatian dogs, you can get them with far to many or not enough spots and some patchy, a genetic lucky draw i suppoise

Love the ducks Luke, I've always wanted ducks. I would like Indian runners, and Khaki Campbells and some big fat Aylesburys

Thanks het we have had various ducks over the years, but the indian runners were my faces, Claude and Morgan, were very sweet they often would 'play' with the old dogs, especially our old peke
