My sister's new cat

What do you think of him? He's a rex, as her OH is cat-allergic.
Name, at the moment, is Boris.
Do you like his david Bowie eyes? - one blue, one green.

Re: My sister's new cat

Yup, bit like the poodle thing - they don't shed and therefore don't produce so much dander (?) which is what sets off the allergies.

They're also incredibly cuddly - I think it's because they don't have as thick a coat and therefore feel the cold a bit.

Re: My sister's new cat

He's about 15 weeks - not a rescue.
They would have been happy to rescue, and have done so in the past, but there aren't too many available.

Awww, he's gorgeous! Those beautiful eyes ......and those ears, wow!!
Boris seems to suit him!!
That's very interesting to know about the allergy thing ~ I'll remember that whenever anyone says they can't have a cat because they are allergic to them.

awwwwwww 15weeks! He looks older in that pic thats why I asked if he was a rescue... tbh nothing quite beats having a little kitten thats a pedigree cos they have unique personalities Post more pics DM!

Re: My sister's new cat

Told you his name would change - they always do that!
He's not Boris any more.
He's been Shep (in his climbing up stage - get down Shep and all that)
Pest
B*****d Thieving Cat
...now he's got no name while they wait till the right one occurs to them!
