Re: been in tears

[quote=Jac]One of the dogs we got in juring the week.
I was going through her stuff and found this letter, been in tears for ages. The girls eyes were all swollen through crying and her hubby didnt come in with her. She did tell me that if we didnt take her, he was going to have her put down! heres the letter. I'm not going to correct it.
Kai,
It isn't your fault we had to give you away, back in July whenI first saw you I just had to have you. You went on walks with me because I couldnt go out on my own because I was afraid and you always walked by my side, if there was a crowd I felt safe. You went on holidays with us and out in the car. But when we left you to go shopping you were destroying the house. When we had an argument about you, I stood up for you blaming myself.
You are a brilliant dog and great with the kids and baby and the pugs.
I am very sad to see you go and you will always be thought about.
Remember it isnt your fault it's me who just didnt know anything about boxers (but you learned me)
Thanks for being my friend and always remember IT ISNT YOUR FAULT.
This is her pic.

Re: been in tears

Kai, the little white girl has had to go into kennels. I think we have a good home for her but will have to wait for a home check. If it works out she'll go to her new home next week

Morgan the little red girl will stay in foster for another week (I think). She needs a bit work. It's lovely to see them "going home". We need a special home for them both. They really havent had the best starts in life. I'll keep you all posted though.

Re: been in tears

I like boxers. They seem to have nearly as tough a time as staffies. Do you think it's just that people think they come with an 'on/off' switch and you only have to work with them when you feel like it? (Just like kids! )

Re: been in tears

Alot of it is ignorance, they see a cute wee puppy and dont know the breed. Others get one for the kids, and the novelty wears off.
Then there are the ones that have a pre Christmas clear out
