I'm so sorry, that is awfully sad to lose them at virtually the same time. Mine are 13 and 8 ............ I worry.
(((Hugs))) for your parents and you.

Re: RIP Bradley ...RIP Willow

Thanks everybody. Kazz no my parents haven't got any other pets. They only had the dogs. They were only eight years old. One had a heart problem (Bradley) who had to be put to sleep first and then Willow showed signs of being very ill (lost a lot of weight in a week) and was diagnosed with liver problems and the vets thought that it was an underlying condition he had, but made worse when his brother died. My dad took him to a veterinary centre in New Market and they said that there was little they could do, and that they could operate but that we would get ill again in a couple of months, so my dad on the vets recommendation decided to have him put to sleep.

My dad did say that he wants to get another dog, possibly a black lab or a border collie, but not until after I get married (next June) but I think they will get another dog before then. My mum is a bit concerned about my dad missing having a companion.

Their home must feel so empty without them
