Hmmmmmmmmmm, yes, the dreaded Home Information Pack!!!! They have been talking about this for years.

It'll be interesting to see how it works out in practice and how it affects those in my profession.

There has been speculation about mortgage lenders not acception survey reports that a vendor has commissioned on their own property, and I can see why!!

Re: pics of house i'm interested in.....

Update............

It would appear that my purchase of this house wasn't meant to be after all

My survey revealed some structural issues and the vendors weren't prepared to acknowledge that, do any works or re-negotiate

So, I'm back to square one and looking for somewhere else to buy. That's why I haven't been on here much the last few days.........sorry

My buyers are very understanding and happy to be patient for a while, but I don't want to risk losing them and my dad has said that I can move in with him for a while if I can't find anywhere else I like. I'm not sure he knows what he's offering though

Keep your fingers crossed for me please!!!!!!!!!!

You'll find the right place when its the right time. You can't rush fate, best of luck though if you try,

Sorry it didn't work out with that house.
Don't panic buy into purchasing something that you don't really want though now, just so that you don't loose your buyers, moving in with your Dad would put you in a very strong position when you found the right place.

Shame about the other house Charlie but better to find out now that later...

I would say take up your Dad's kind offer, then you won't be rushed into buying something that's not exactly what you want
Hopefully, you will find something better than the last one too!

Sorry that it didn't work out Charlie. I guess that house wasn't meant for you; hang in there and the right one will come along........

Re: pics of house i'm interested in.....

Thanks for your support, ladies.

Don't worry.........I definitely won't buy anything just for the sake of it. I may end up back with dad, but we'll wait and see. I wouldn't mind it, but it's not really practical for the cats

I have a few viewings this week, so trying to keep positive.
