disposal of cat litter

I am asking on behalf of marmaduke owners. Is there any producks that you can use that will dispose cat litter outside in the garden ie like a compost bin or is the only way you can dispose of all the litter is in the dustbin.

Re: disposal of cat litter

I think the risk of passing on/picking up something nasty from the cat's leavings means that you shouldn't try to compost it? I know pregnant mums are at a slight risk of picking up a disease which is potentially dangerous to their babies and are advised to use rubber gloves when cleaning litter boxes., or better still, get someone else to do it.
Worls Best Litter is flushable but I don't know what the water authorities make of that.
Dustbin is probably best
