Barney and Mia

Some updates of Barney and his new wee sister Mia

Barney is the liver and white springer. We rescued him 2 years ago when he was about 6. He had alot of issues but we worked through them and in time he has becoming an amazing boy!! We had no doubt that he would but it has been a lot of work, training and tears but soo worth it!!

We picked up Mia the orange and white roan Brittany on the 19th December. She is a really timid wee thing. She is originally from Spain and spent just over a year in a shelter there. All we know was she was abused before she was put in the shelter. She was brought ove rto the UK in June but it didnt work out in her forever home and after 2 month she ended up n a foster home for about 4 month until we went on a 9hour round trip to pick her up and bring her to her new forever home. She needs confidence building, recal and lead training but she is the most lovig wee thing and has already come on leaps and bounds in the week and a bit we have had her. She has such a difficult start in life and she is only 3. Things can and will only improve for her

Here are some pics of my babies

Re: Barney and Mia

Pamela, Mia looks so happy and relaxed now that she has found her forever home. What a sad life she has had so far. Karma to you for rescuing her. Barney is, as always, a beautiful boy, and it looks as if the two of them will become firm friends. I know that they both have long and happy lives to look forward to with you. Thanks for sharing the photos.

Fab that you've felt able to offer Mia a second (or third) chance. She's a lucky girl. All best wishes for her continued rehab with you and Barney, so glad that they are getting on well together.
