Moving and a new kitten -stress

I'm having to move home by 19th May. I don't know where I'm going to go yet, but I'm not concerned for myself as I have 2 safety nets (one being my parents, that Myszka knows well as he always comes with me). What I'm concerned about is Myszka, the stress of moving him, and I'm also getting a new kitten somewhen after 8th May.

So my question is, do I try to move before welcoming the new kitten which gives Myszka time to settle. Or, move at the same time as getting the new kitten. Or, intro the kitten in my current place and move them together?

Which is likely to stress them out the least? My preference would be one of the first 2, as the kitten will have less to deal with. But I'd appreciate everyone's opinions.

Are you able to hold off on getting the new kitten for a bit? I know it might not be possible but I'm thinking the stress on Myszka would be far easier if there was only one issue to deal with.

I agree with Yola and was going to make the same suggestion. Feliway spray may help in the new home.

I've got both the spray and the diffuser.
Hoping to move earlier, and back to my parents, so should be able to settle Mysz before kitten.

That sounds like a good compromise. Good luck with the move and with the kitten introductions.
