Leaves starting to color

It's beginning, this is a maple outside my window. In a bit it's going to be stunning.

Re: Leaves starting to color

bet the tree will look gorgeous when it's changed, Eileen.
I've been trying to pretend it's still summer and it's getting more and more difficult.
We are doing Autumn with the kids at work so it's unavoidable realy

I miss my Maple trees from my homeland, *sigh*, they're the best in the autumn, such deep reds, you're lucky to have one on your doorstep Eileen!

That's a big tree too. I bet it has a host of wildlife!!

Yes,it's a big one, I'm on the 5th floor, so you can see how tall it is. I miss my red Japanese maple from my front yard, though. Should I know or am I having a senior moment, what's your homeland?
