Thomas needs a new home.

I've been contacted about a 15 year old male house cat who needs a new home. His owner is moving back to France and feels Thomas would not cope with the move. He is in good health as far as I know and has 3 weeks to find a home. It was looking like he would be PTS if nothing could be found, obviously I have said he can come here but he is used to being an only pet and we really do not have space for any more cats as we are committed to taking in 2 oldies at the end of the year.
Thomas is in Aberdeen.
If anybody could offer him a home, please contact me and I will pass on the owner's details.

Ah bless him, how is he health wise? Would he be ok with other animals, i.e. dogs? Would he be ok with children?
I take it he is a moggy? Any idea what colour?

Will ask around.

Re: Thomas needs a new home.

He is a beautiful, long haired, white, neutered boy.
As far as I know he has no health problems, I'm guessing he isn't vaccinated because he has been a house cat all his life.
He has been an only cat in a quiet household with no children. I guess if he were going to a home with other animals it would have to be with someone experienced in introductions, obviously if it didn't work out we would take him.

We are pretty full at the moment, as well as the chinchillas, we've just taken in an african pygmy hedgehog and I'm hand rearing a wild baby bunny handed in- he was just over a week when handed in and is now between 2 and 3 weeks.
