About the same age as yours, I did take a few out and pot them, they are about the size of yours...

Like Eileen's, mine didn't germinate either. May have been my fault, trying to get the seeds out of their mucous. Yours really look good Mags - well done!

I left a lot of the gooey stuff on them when they were planted, Angie..

Dragon plants are cacti.

The 'gooey' stuff does protect and nourishes the seed to a certain extent when they are planted, just leave it on, it keeps the seed moist and along with under-heat aids germination. But cacti can be hard to germinate anyway so it probably wasn't this that was the problem, they do best in a sand, compost, and perlite mix, and can be prone to damping off in the early stages, but once you've got over that hurdle they're away!

Mine were grown indoors in ordinary multi purpose compost in July'10, they germinated in about two weeks........ the seedling stayed quite small until Spring this year when they began to grow fast.
