Little blackbird

A few weeks ago I looked out of my brothers window and saw a Magpie killing a tiny blackbird (must of dragged it from the nest)

The past few days there has been another very young blackbird in our garden and its been a joy to watch but sadly a few hours ago my dad found it dead in the garden feathers everywhere, must of happened when we were having our tea.

Im so upset about it, so just thought id say R.I.P lil birdies.

Magpies are handsome birds but it is difficult to find anything nice to say about them.
They destroy other birds eggs and young......and have even been known to kill newborn lambs by pecking at them.

It's so sad that you had to witness the demise of the baby blackbird, I can understand how upsetting it must have been for you.

That's sad, I can understand how upsetting that must have been to witness. Nature is very cruel sometimes.

That was sad. Nature in the raw isn't always nice. RIP, little birds...
