What's a tortie point?
Siamese have cream/pale bodies and darder/coloured point areas ie tail, ears nose etc... tortie point means that these 'coloured' bits are tortoise shell coloured (bits of colours all mingled together) as opposed to a solid colour say chocolate point. In Porsha's case she will be lilac or caramel tortoiseshell colouring. Hope I haven't confused you more

Re: Porsha...

I always find it amazing how the breeders know more or less when they are born, what colour they will be..Caspers breeder knew immedialely he would be seal....
Porsha is lovely PK, although she does look a bit like a gremlin and the moment..

They have an idea by the colour of their pads and the base of the nails, sometimes there are subtle colour differences in the nose leather which can give an indication. The darker colours are easier to identify at birth and reds have no colouring at birth what so ever.

Wow a true professional!!! I'm impressed. (I'm not being cheeky honest, I am impressed)
What a wee cutie pie. Glad you have found your new baby. Bet you cant wait till you get her home. Are you going to start breeding?

The breeder has asked if I would take both the cats I am planning to have from her on 'active'. I want to do some showing first. I am not really interested in breeding from them to be honest but will see what happens in the future

Very sweet kitten. Don't you just love those soft little pads and those razor sharp claws?!
