My roses the scent is gorgeous...
One of the 18" hanging baskets on the shed wall.....
The garden to the left as you see no grass the garden is too small and I am not organised enought to keep it tidy...
Hanging basket again 18"...coming on nicely ......
Icelandic poppies...
From the back door some of the troughs, pots baskets etc.

Re: Garden today

I love poppies too.
That looks quite Mediterranean in the bright sun Kazz.
I agree with you that small gardens are generally better without grass

Lovely!! Beautiful splashes of colour boldly adminstered. You have a great flair for garden work Karen! And I love poppies too. There were some lilac ones flowering yesterday on my walk with Sebi and they were stunning!

I too think the best thing I did was get rid of the grass in our back garden. It was either waterlogged or parched

Yes, DM is right about the Mediterranean look - I can see us all grouped around your table, sipping our sundowners!

Re: Garden today

Definitely a Mediterranean look; your garden is lovely. The poppies are stunning, and we've already admired that rose. What a lot of work and thought has gone into that.
I agree 100% about grass ...best thing I did in mine was having the flagstone patio put in.
