Agapanthus

I noticed two buds on my agapanthus today, a lot earlier than last years buds.

Any other agapanthus owner noticed buds on theirs?

Re: Agapanthus

No - I'm just pleased they have came up. Remember last year I had posted asking what it was, so this will be the first year for me. They have both got quite a few leaves about 6 inches.

Re: Agapanthus

Not yet. Mind you, mine got dug up and put in a pot as part of the new garden furniture area (pictures coming). I think the large bulb is deceased but there are young leaves coming up off the sides, so not dead. Don't know whether I'll get any flowers though this year.

Re: Agapanthus

Mine was overwintered indoors in a pot as it won't survive outdoors. Just put it outside last week and no signs of buds yet, although it has made a second bulb.

Re: Agapanthus

No not yet, it's not very big yet either, about 2 inches max and seems to be going really slowly, this is its first year though...
