Can you still claim bank charges back or has this now all been stopped?

Think it's still ongoing. Check with one of the early links or on www.moneysavingexpert.com ?

No Sadly not Kazz. Sent the letter straightaway and haven't heard anything back from Barclays. We have paid out £320 in fees and not a penny back.

Thanks for asking though.

Thanks Kazz for thinking of me. I suppose it won't do any harm.

Re: Excessive bank charges - anybody going to complain to their bank?

I can't see how a phone call could hurt Kim. Give it a go you never know.

Just say "Given the time elapsed, you would like to know when they were going to be crediting your account with the refund or were they sending a cheque and if so you have no received it."

If pushed say "you replied straightaway to their offer saying you were willing to accept their offer, so were just ringing to ask when the money would be credited, as an offer was made and accepted."

Start off confidently as they offered you accepted so there fore you are right and want your money.

Trouble is Kazz, we didn't accept their offer as after posting on the Consumer forum we were advised to go to court for the full amount. I did write and say we had changed our mind but we haven't heard from them. Unfortunately, as we declined their offer they are under no obligation to fulfill it.
