Food for cats with CRF

Most advice regarding food for cats with chronic renal failure is to give the cats wet food.

Re: Food for cats with CRF

Wet food is always considered best for CRF cats and it is equally important to mention that it is better for your cat to eat something than nothing.

Re: Food for cats with CRF

Reviving this thread as I have heard and read some good reports on Integra Protect Renal food, It has a low phos/low protein content. From what I have heard and read almost all who have tried it with their crf cats have had success in them eating it, where as many cats simply wont eat the prescription diets such as Hills and Royal Canin.
They also do sensitive, urinary and obesity foods.

Kattovit also do a range but it seems that 9 out of 10 cats prefer Integra

Both available from zooplus.
