Still thinking of you and Fifi Yola. Hoping you can tempt her to eat.

Re: Fifi hospitalised

You know your Fifi's personality Yola and if you think she's not herself then it must be so. I only hope that the fact she's eating again is a good sign, I wonder do cats have depression? and if so, maybe Fi is coming round a bit. I know we tend to project human emotion on our animals but cats have a depth to them that makes me feel that they are quite psychologically in tune with their humans and may pick up on emotions and react to them.

Re: Fifi hospitalised

Good point, PP! I hadn't thought about depression. Poor Fifi has had operations on her paw and unpleasant vet stays, and of course can't really understand why these things have been happening to her; hopefully being back home in secure surroundings will let her perk up a bit. It's so horrid when they're ill, isn't it?

Let's hope I'm wrong.

Hope she perks up Yola, but sometimes enough is enough good she is eating though.

Re: Fifi hospitalised

I hope Fifi perks up, sometimes it does take a good while for them to feel fully better. Now she is back eating, I hope it will speed her recovery up. Thinking of you.

Re: Fifi hospitalised

So sorry to read this thread, Yola, but don t underestimate the strength your love will give to Fifi. I expect its the same as us when we are recovering from an infection, the appetite does take awhile to come back properly. Think positive - it is hard at times but it really can help. All love and best wishes to you all, Jan x
