Smudgley!!!!! Can you help please??OH has a friend (I know, I couldn't believe it either), who lives in Wolverhampton. He has a cat that needs to be rehomed due to his wife telling him, it's the cat or her (I know what I would have chosen  ). The cat is doing the toilet all over the house, which is a new occurence apparently. I asked him about health and stress etc. Says the cat is fine health wise and hasn't come in with any fight marks or been hit by a car. He doesn't want the cat to go, but the wife isn't having it anymore. The cats about a year old I think! What is the best course of action for him to take? Where does he go for rehoming help? Any advice appreciated ('cause otherwise he's threatening to bring it to ours 'just to see it' and we all know what that would lead to!!)

Thanks Smudgley! Much appreciated. I'm not very pleased at the reason behind the request, but I know the guy is very genuine, and he's upset at losing his cat, but the wife is adamant. I'll let you know how he gets on! |

I know everyone is down on the wife but I had this situation with two kitten that I adopted from a rescue and after nearly six months of trying everything I had to send them back because I just couldn't cope with it anymore. They were weeing and pooing on my bed. Weeing on worktops in the kitchen - no room was sacrosanct. What do people suggest they do if they cannot "cure" the cat? I had never had a problem like that before with a cat(s). |
