keanu at vets - update

well we just got back with keanu from the vets. Turns out he was scracthing his ears cos of fleas and the vet reakons the sore on his chin is caused by that also. The breeder hadnt flea treated them cos she doesnt have a problem with it. So he is now treated for fleas, indie too. And after a thorough checkup he is in good health, despite the run ins hes had with indie.

he did not like the car one bit and wailed the whole way to the vets! but he sure got a warm welcome when he got there

Fleas!! The little blighters. Well, I'm sure Keanu and Indie will be feeling a lot better now. Hope that solves that problem. Did he say anything about the microchipping?

Glad your vet found out what the problem was with the scratching. Did you have him microchipped and Leukamia vaccinated?

Re: keanu at vets - update

oo yes i nearly forgot. we had him microchipped, the vet said it was best cos he could get stolen if he got out.

we didnt do the leukemia as the vet said if hes not having contact with other cats then he cant catch it.

but he did say if we ever decided to let him out without the harness then we should get him done

That's good that he's all sorted now then. Just the little issue of socialising him with Indie to go now, lol!

Thats good news all around; pleased about the MC. Do Bengals have loud voices like Siamese? Mine didn't wail in the car, he screeched all the way! And Back!!
