Me and the owner of that cat have become quite good friends, she lives in America. It brought a lump to my throat seeing the picture framed  She asked me to do a drawing of the cat who is her sons cat and he grew up with him, and the cat is getting on a bit in age and she didn't know if he had much time left, I emailed her the progress pictures of the cat (I take work in progress pictures with most of my drawings) as I did him and they loved it. To say I am pleased with the way it has turned out is an understatement, and seeing it framed up like that really has hit the nail on the head why I get so much enjoyment out of these drawings. |
