Pet friendly wood stains.

I was just wondering if anybody who has got cat pens could give me some ideas for a good quality pet friendly wood stain as I would like to stain Maxi and Maisy`s new cat pen.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated
Thank you Pauline, Maxi and Maisy

Maybe the Cuprinol ones which come in nice pastel colours as well as 'brown'?
You'd probably need to ask at the store, or read the can. I have a vague memory that the Cuprinol are OK - I know they don't harm plants.
