Wow looks like a lovely day out Mags, not keen on zoo's myself but seems they are getting more animal welfare concious than I thought. That is one heck of a tortoise......looks like you had a lovely day.

Zoos have changed a lot from years ago, thank goodness , Kazz.

Yes, the tortoises are huge ..... there were two out that day and they were just about to be fed. Both of them raised one of their front legs up to reach their greens!
