Poor Connie, bless her, she is too young to understand and I suppose if she had won, they couldn't really have given her a recording contract could they?

Re: Britain has talent

No they couldn't but then I didn't think that was the point of the show. It was to find an act to perform at the variety performance, and no matter what Paul was going to get a contract, whereas it would have been something Connie could have lived on for years!! I think the wrong decision was made, but never mind, I hope Paul enjoys his success!

I really would have liked her to win too, I think the queen would have loved her!

Never mind though, with a voice like that at 6 years old, I think she will go places when she is older!

I would have prefered wee Connie too, but Paul was excellent, I think it was always going to be between the two of them who won.

Re: Britain has talent

I have to disagree, ladies!!

I'm pleased that Paul won as he was so humble and didn't realise his own talent. I think that his winning will really better his life and that of his family.

Whereas with little Connie, although I loved her don't get me wrong, she wouldn't have really benefitted from winning and probably would have forgotten it in a few years time. Plus when she's a teenager, she would have been really embarassed by it all!!! lol

I'm really pleased Paul won, he has an excellent voice (I love opera so suppose I am biased) and seems a genuinely nice guy.
