Do you have a signature dish?

Do you have a signature dish (for want of a better phrase) one that you your family enjoy they ask for it a favourite dish you cook?

Re: Do you have a signature dish?

Unfortunately I've no living family, but before I retired I was always asked to bring my pickled beets and stuffed celery to the annual office Xmas party. Neither of them are exactly what you could really call a"dish", I guess...

Re: Do you have a signature dish?

I have two (sort of), one can't really be called a dish. It's my home-made coleslaw. No one else in the family does that sort of thing so it's always left to me to supply (there's never any left at the end though). My proper dish is my vegetable soup. As soon as the pot is ready, it's empty! I always try to make enough that I can freeze some, but never get the chance, lol!

My OH has also fallen for a new one I have been trying out, lasagne! Never made it before last month, but have now made it 3 times, 'cause he can't get enough.
