Re: Dylan's been to the vets

Has he eaten/drank any more since your earlier post?

Oh Poor Dylan, I hope he is on the mend - and sending him some good catsey vibes

I hope Dylan is soon well again. Have you tried Bach Flower Remedy? I'm told it can help.

Re: Dylan's been to the vets

Dylan's appetite is getting a lot better, he's not yet there with drinking though (haven't seen him drink anything on his own since Saturday - having to syringe water into him) he's on wet food now so he is getting liquid without being syringed.

Re: Dylan's been to the vets

That sounds good RCR - Dylan has had a couple of moves in a shortish time and is probably feeling unsettled. Good that he's eating again.

I've managed to get him to drink without help just after lunch (in fact he's requesting more food and drink now)

Re: Dylan's been to the vets

The only other thing we need to tackle is Dylan's thing about holding on to urine in his bladder until he cannot hold it any longer before going in his tray Already mentioned it to the vet and she was as baffled as we are He's on a different brand of cat litter here, same stuff as he's used to but for some reason he doesn't want to use it to "go" nor does he want to "go" outside

Re: Dylan's been to the vets

We may be taking Dylan back to the vets again - yesterday evening we noticed someone had done a pee on the kitchen floor and unfortunately it had some blood in it (we don't know whether it was Dylan or not because we had the back door open due to the heat)

Sorry to see that, it does seem like another symptom. Poop Dylan.
