Thank you, Mags. Does not seem as if it's been seven years, does it? I can still remember everything that day as clearly as if it were yesterday....

Re: 11th September 2001

I think we all recall it so well because it was so "out of the ordinary" something no one would expect an attack with a plane full of passengers......really it beggars belief.., so very tragic. Uncomprehensible really even now you see the news flashes and its hard to take in it happened although you would not believe it if it were part of a film either, I think it was beyond sensible belief to anyone.

Yet it did happen and because of it the sadness and loss of life that has occured then has been immense all through the World.
Appox 3000 people directly due to the events on the day since then many thousands more have died. Loss on a huge scale..........for if you consider it each person that dies must affect a further at least 20 directly in form of family/close friends.............sadness caused due to what?

It will always be a date carved in our collective memory, you'll remember where you were when you saw/ heard about it.
God Bless the families of those He's taken into his Eternal Home.

Truly tragic and senseless. Poor victims and families. May they rest in peace.
