Re: Beautiful Bank holiday Monday

oh goodness, an intact one at that? now THAT is mind boggling to me ....
i would never let any of my cats roam..but i am also very protective of my cats. he wasn't wearing a collar either. shocked me because i know most of the neighborhood cats because they like to frequent our pond..

Re: Beautiful Bank holiday Monday

An absolutely stunning big Sealpoint boy, roamed freely thru the neighborhood and was street smart; I saw him look both ways before crossing them! There must have been a few unspayed females around, as at one time the neighborhood was full of black kittens! His family took good care of him otherwise, Carolyn checked his medical records thoroughly before she let Ming mate with Kate, other than not being neutered he's had all his shots, etc.

Patches had a big crush on him; whenever he's come to sit in my yard she'd coo and chirp at him and try to rub cheeks .... he was completely uninterested in her and would walk slowly away ... you had to laugh!

Aww poor Patches!!...
Hestia's "boyfriend" has been hanging around our pond again (white cat with a few gray spots I have seen her with when she came back from walkabout). Hope this doesn't mean she's going to try to make a run for it again, I do not like that game! You'd think she wasn't spayed the way she wanders Although it is raining now and she does not like to get wet so we may be safe

Well, the weather will be getting worse, cold and windy, so maybe she'll be less inclined to go walkabout and scare us all to death again. How does boyfriend interact with her? Ming knew Patchie couldn't make babies, so she was thoroughly snubbed in all her overtures. It was hard not to laugh ... he had an unwanted groupie!

Not sure, I've only seen them huddled together and him waiting in the wings when she came home as if he escorted her. I get the feeling he looked after her and showed her which houses left food out for outside kitties
