Re: Help! Posh in a bit of bother...

We got her backfrom the vets in Merthyr at 6pm last night. Darling girl was staaarving! So had some nice fresh chicken breast, hand fed of course ! The vets had shaved her two front shins and her backleg and a small part of her throat. She had put up a fair old struggle but the vet nurses, who I know very well, were very understanding and said they had her calm and purring when the IV got going eventually. She's peed and poohed overnight here. We have starved her from 10pm for more bloods to be done today to check kidney function. Just back in from dropping her off again. Bless her, little thing went into her carrier again quite nicely but she mewed all the time in the car and she knew where she was when we arrived in the vet hosp.
No New Year sales shopping for me, but I have to thank the girls on CATSEY forum for saving my kitty's life; she's worth every penny
