Re: In agony!!!

Follow the doc's advice to the letter then! Plenty of rest, don't try to tough it out! Got any books you always meant to read?

Get well soon and look after yourself well.

Re: In agony!!!

Glad you've been seen. That must be really painful, take it easy and don't overdo. What rotten timing just as you're so busy........

Isn't Dr G your OH though Elaine???

Still if you can weight bear I think you should go with Erin's sister's advice.

Hope it gets less painful very quickly.

Re: In agony!!!

Yes sorry I was being a little flippant, Dr G is ofcourse Graham. G, being ex army and a body builder does know about muscle injuries and such like. He has also been giving me advice on proteint etc and made me a protein drink to help repair the muscle.

Re: In agony!!!

Oh ouch! Rest and ice maybe then as you have been advised. No ice pack? Pack of peas is great as it bends round corners!

Re: In agony!!!

Leg update, I am still hobbling around but it's not agony anymore. My sister met me today and walked all the dogs for me as I sat in the sun , to be honest I felt like a fraud. I did do some walking but it was taking it's toll a little. I actually think that my sister enjoyed it though.
Hopefully there will be an even greater improvement tomorrow and I can begin to get back to normal.
