Re: Got to go.

Good news. You were being the strong one there for them then; you do need to let it out now and have a good cry. Thinking of you and your Dad and family, chum, (((hugs)))

Re: Got to go.

Glad it was only a mild heart attack, he will be carefully monitored now. My dad had a mild heart attack in 1976, he went on for lots more years and died in 1999. Take care Elaine, it does sound as though you are in a bit of shock. ((hugs))

Re: Got to go.

Thankyou every one. No real news on my dad as yet. Have been at the hospital for the last two and a half hours, but my dad is having the endioscope and hasnt yet come back from theatre.
Aberdeen hospital car park is a nightmare. I fell out with one of the parking attendants, 5 of them in all and all standing around doing ****** all while they continue to let cars in and there are no spaces to park in
Finally met up with my mum and sister, we went to the hospital cafe, the chap infront had his tea practically thrown at him . So when it came to our turn I asked for two cups of tea and I'd prefer the tea in the cups and not in the saucers please.

Re: Got to go.

O)k good news, my dad has undergone a 3 hour op, he has had 3 stents put in place. The doctor has said that if all goes well, my dad will get home tomorrow evening.
My brother in law called to say that my dad was sat up in bed laughing and joking with them but that this is a bit of wake up call too.
