Rescue not pooed in 2 days - problem?

Hi all

I rescued my delightful 3 year old BSH on Saturday after she was spayed on Friday and I'm concerned as she's still not done a poo since we brought her home! She hardly ate on Saturday but has eaten normal portions since.

Should I be worried? Thanks .

Don't worry yet ...... she's had quite a traumatic few days, plus having had a GA, so she may take a while.

I agree with angieh, general anesthetic can have an effect. It took a while before Minnie performed after she had her op.

You could try giving her some fish in oil if she likes it. That always worked with Speedy when she couldn't go.
