So very sorry to hear this news farthing. I hope you can all have a peaceful weekend and make a fuss of Candy, although you probably do that anyway.

I will be thinking about you on Monday. It's kind of your vet to come out so Candy will be saved the stress of a journey to the vet.

Thanks Angie, we always try to get the vet out to put to sleep at home if at all possible. It's the last thing we can do for them, save the stress of a vet visit in their last hours.
I guess people think it means less to us than those with one or two cats, but I can say I've cried since finding out about Candy, still wondering if I could have done more, if there is anything else we can do and if it is really the right time.
It certainly doesn't get any easier.
