Tricky Tuesday

Its tricky because I am trying to decide what to have for brekkie? crumpets and marmite or a bacon sarnie?

Anyhow the weather is not to bad here today so far the sky does look full of snow but could be white cloud.
Just going to take Sal out and get the paper then decide on brekkie.

Have a good day all and speak later.

Re: Tricky Tuesday

Okay decided on crumpets and have to say Sal is charging about the garden like a loonatic - she has always been a winter girl loving the cold crisp weather.

Re: Tricky Tuesday

Morning Kazz, Morning Sal! Very cold and crisp here, blue sky, white ground. OH has gone over the field with Monty for a shorter walk this morning as OH is off to play golf (I know he's crazy.) Some housework for me and then when OH gets home from golf we'll be getting ready for Monty's dog training Christmas party - we're out about 6.00 and late home, so I'll be off piste this evening!

I had porridge for brekkie, made with apple juice and a dollop of yoghurt. Warming, yummy!

Have a good day peeps.

Re: Tricky Tuesday

Morning Angie, and did you dismiss the idea of the foster pup or think any more about fostering the lurcher pup your hubby was mentioning? your breakfast sounds brilliant.

Re: Tricky Tuesday

afternoon all, never tried making porridge with apple juice Angie. Fostering a pup, how exciting and worthwhile, hope the visit goes well.
Karen, crumpets sound lovely, must get some and try marmite on them, i keep forgetting.
Pamela, hope work goes well.
I've been to work this morning and got to paint some snowman scenes on the windows which isn't easy.
On the way home i called at the farm shop for pies, fruit and veg. Also called in at a lovely local gift shop to get my secret santa pressie for someone at work. We spend £5 and i got a bargain, it's a boxed candle reduced from £20, it smells realy nice and they gift wrapped it too.

Re: Tricky Tuesday

Brrrrrrrrrr is all I can say -6
Well it has been a nice day here a cold frost this morning but nothing OTT.

Angie are you sure the pup will stop as a foster although saying that it will be a nice way of sussing out if being a two dog family is for you.

I meet a lovely lab puppy this morning - never really had much to do with labs but he was a poppet.

Oh meant to say off out this evening I forgot all about agreeing to meet a friend......"bad person"

Re: Tricky Tuesday

Yes, this fostering business ..... we are putting ourselves forward as fosters who might fail (ie. adopt!) for several reasons. Being a life long asthmatic, I've of course found that I can live very happily with a Miniature Schnauzer, I know they say the breed is non shedding and does not cause allergies, but you never really know until you try. I'm actually amazed that neither Kizzy nor Pip set me off and as a child my parents were always told furry pets were a no-no. So, our trainer is keen on sighthounds and so our foster pup may well be a lurcher/greyhound/whippet or some cross breed. If we all get on well then we may go on to adopt the pup ..... I reckon we get the best of both worlds and can socialise the pup and get him or her used to the cats and Monty. And Monty will have a friend .... he does not care what sort it is, just so long as they can play together, hopefully they will both be happy as Larry.
