Beam me up Scottie


I am going to see this tomorrow on my day off. Really looking forward to it I am not a purist....I like Star Trek, TNG, Voyager and now eventually getting into Deep Space 9. Can't get into Enterprise though.....but looking forward to this film good reviews from fellow Trekkies too .

I loved Star Trek when Spock and Kirk were in it, not been so keen with all the new ones though...

Just been told how they tested the film to see if folk would like it? they went to Texas, land of the trekie convention, and arranged a viewing of The Wrath of Khan at a cinema so a bunch of proper fans turned up, they then made the film fail when it was just starting causing uproar till Leonard Nimoy walked out with a reel of the new film and asked if they would rather watch it instead lol

What a brilliant brilliant marketing ploy and idea....
