Sorry I cannot be of any help because I took two 12 week old kittens from a rescue and they were exactly the same. They even peed and pood on my bed when I was in it! I tried for six months but nothing worked so I took them back to the rescue as I just couldn't cope.

It was a long time after that before I got another cat. When I was young we always had cats and I had never come across this behaviour before and I was worried that I may get another cat that did the same. Touch wood my Rosie and Alfie are very clean.

I have seen the problem aired on many cat sites so it is not an uncommon problem but as far as I know there is no definitive answer.
