Re: Daily Thread - Sunday

Afternoon everyone! It's a soft day here! Overcast - we have had thunder earlier and some rain, but it's very mild. Those 'orrible weeds are all thinking it's their special day! Glad OH mowed the lawns and I did some pottering about in the garden yesterday too. Been out and filled up all the birdfeeders just now to make the most of a dry bit! OH is watching the Grand Prix - I'm here catching up on Catsey and have a couple of birdfeeders in soak in the utility at the mo - they do get yucky.

Glad last night went well Elaine and that you don't have a hangover. Poor Eva - bet it's a combination of missing Erin and having her mouse confiscated!

Have a good day everyone!

Re: Daily Thread - Sunday

Grey here too but that didn't stop us driving off to the coast for a coffee and Danish to celebrate OH's birthday.
the sea was really dark and the sea mist really thick and gloomy; very atmospheric! Coffee was warm and the pastry sweet, just the ticket.

Righto, got to sort out the washing basket, anyone care for ironing...?

Re: Daily Thread - Sunday

Just found this thread, it wasn't in my New Posts! Belated hi, all! Overnight rain and chilly and gloomy all day; very glad I didn't put the tomato plants out, as it will be chilly for a few more days. Usual market run (fresh peas!!!) Doing the Sunday crossword; nothing much on the agenda.

Elaine: glad all went well last evening; hope Eva's better
Tink: love Winnie the Pooh!
PL: nothing like a little retail therapy; I've ben doing quite a bit online...

Enjoy the evening...
