Daily thread - SaturdayMorning all. Still feeling quite drained and emotional after yesterdays events but just have to wait and see what the news is today.  The sun is shinning, gonna keep busy by catching up on housework, got a couple of staffies to walk at lunchtime. Eva is crying to be let outside, so I will oblige after i have got dressed, she has been such a lovely kitty this week, very sweet and cuddly. I do love her xxx. Bernie is always a darling and i love him too xxx. Hope every one has a great day xxx

Morning all. Elaine - hope today brings good news for you. Wet here, even tho the forecast was dry. Oh well. Today we get Alfies blood test results (everyones fingers and toes crossed here). John Lewis has agreed to replace my faulty washing machine FOC (hurrah) so we need to go and choose a new one - the towel mountain can be reduced once they deliver. Once in JL I'll obviously need to have some retail therapy LOL. Then housework and perhaps pictures tonight. Hope you all have a good day. CM |

Right a lovely morning here.............and off to continue the ongoing battle with the garden trying to get it into some sort of shape...........YES I know some hope. Elaine hope all goes well today. CM you realise another washing machine means more ironing....but hey if it rocks your boat   Have a good day all off to the garden. |

Just back from Weston, it was so warm/hot there I managed to get a tan...  Had a bit of retail therapy myself there, bought a couple of tops for the winter. Also bought some cone shaped hanging baskets in the Garden Centre on the way home. Hope this lovely weather lasts long enough for me to plant them up... Elaine ~ I hope you get some promising news about the bird....... just remember it wasn't your fault, it may have been ailing before you started looking after it. |

Hi, all. Beautiful sunny day but still unseasonably chilly, 19C; but supposed to warm up nicely tomorrow! Did the Saturday library run and can get some work done in the garden, as with jeans and a sweatshirt on there's less space for the mosquitoes to have lunch!  Leia seems to be enjoying the chilly weather, she's been much livelier than usual and demanding more food! Loudly! Elaine, hoping for good news about the birdie .....Enjoy the day! |
