Posted one for pumpkin pie, Angie. I admit I've always made it with canned pumpkin.. This is great with real whipped cream on top!

Thanks Eileen! That looks good - I have only had pumpkin pie once many years ago. An English work colleague who had lived in U.S. for many years brought one in to work. It was delicious and quite sweetly spiced. I remember it fondly!

You'd have to ask Linus in the Peanuts comic strip (do you get that?) He is the one who always waits in the pumpkin patch for The Great Pumpkin to rise with presents for all the good boys and girls on Hallowe'en night.

I used to love Peanuts. Used to be in The Daily Mail which my parents used to take. I have to admit I don't bother with daily newspapers any more.

I'm still a newspaper addict; was really really antsy during the blizzards when there was no delivery; no crossword!! I could get the news and comics on line, but not the same!!
