What lovely news - congratulations and so pleased you "rescued" her I imagine the woman thought she was doing the best for her keeping her safe, but I am sure she will have a nice future with you, a very pretty girl and I love her name too.

Re: I have a new kitten!

Thank you so much everyone. She is settling in really well and improving tenfold by the day. She has been sleeping on the same sofa as Kiara today and they have been chasing each other about the room all day. My sister had her kitten over today too and we are just trying to socialise her as much as we can. She is doing very well, she's still really young and the rate at which she is improving i'm sure she will be just fine.

She had a few accidents on the first day and wasn't using her litter tray, so like a puppy, after she woke up and after meals and play, I have been putting her in her litter tray, and just about half hour ago she went in and did her "thing" all on her own! iI have no idea if she was litter trained before. The lady didn't even know if she were male of female so I didn't ask too many questions. She also didn't know her age and just said "about 6-7 weeks". She told me she had had her 3 weeks, and got her at 4 weeks old so I just did the math.

She's booked in for a check up at my vet next week, so will let you all know how we get on. I do know she hasn't had any kind of worming, flea treatment or any jabs or anything yet so will get the worming done and get jabs booked for when she's old enough.

Kazz i'm sure the lady did think it was the best thing for her, i'm just glad she realised she would be happier outside a cage

Both Kiara and Vitaani are asleep on my desk now, albeit opposite ends!
