Re: Tabatha.

How heartwrenching for you Farthing. I do hope there are some signs of improvement with Tabatha, however from what you write I don't you are being paranoid as there are some strong indications that things are definitely not right.

Thinking of you . . .

Re: Tabatha.

Tabatha is in my prayers too, poor girl, and so frustrating for you farthing. You have the patience of a saint. Hope she is responding to your excellent care.

Re: Tabatha.

Not good today- she did eat some sheba terrine but has thrown it back up again. I've tried fish and milk- straight and blended, boiled chicken straight and blended and she's not interested. She seems more frail today, although she ate quite well yesterday. I'm taking her back in tomorrow and will take her home again, although I don't know for how long. She will be PTS at home if it comes to it!

Re: Tabatha.

Not long after writing the last post Tabatha had diarrhoea. We decided not to wait any longer and took her into the vey. Her bloods are terrible- so anaemic the machine couldn't read it, white blood cells very low, urea so high it was off the scale, creatinine and phosphates very high.
She has been given a cerenia injection and a steroid injection to keep her comfortable and she will have her last vet visit at home tomorrow.
