Dinner party guests who?

If you were to have a dinner party apart from family or friends who would you invite you can have up to 7 people as well as yourself.
Alive or dead, who would you have, and why?

Re: Dinner party guests who?

Frank Gardener - BBC correspondent, shot in Riyhad last year. Always thought he talked a lot of sense. Heard him several times recently. He is very well informed about middle east & terror groups and has a fascinating past.

Michael Parkinson - such a good talker and easer-outer of interesting facts. He'd be the proxy host, so i could just eat and listen!

Michael Palin - been everywhere, seen everything, and amusing with it

Condoleezza Rice - to hear more about her growing up black, female and clever in a southern state and find out what it's like to work with/for George Bush

Shirley Williams - British politics from a female point of view from the avuncular Jim Callaghan, escaping the rabid Labour years to the SDP and then the LibDems. Also daughter of Vera Brittain - author of that so sad book, Testament of Youth, about the ridiculous fulility of WW1

Billy Connelly - to bring a touch of humour to any (unlikely) embarrassing pauses

anybody else want to come?

Re: Dinner party guests who?

I would invite.....
Johnny Depp, because I think he would be quite interesting, not to mention that he's gorgous.
Paul O'Grady because he is hilarious.
Kathy Burk, coz she is a lush like me and again would be highly entertaining.
Noel Gallagher, but only if he brings his guitar and promises not to fight with any one.
Justin Sullivan and his wife Joolz, because I love them both. Justing must also bring his guitar and Joolz must recite some of her poetry.
Paul Whitehouse, so he can rip the piss out of us and do some impressions and skits.
Huey from Fun Loving Criminals, just coz he loves animals.

Re: Dinner party guests who?

Right, I'd invite

Jamie Oliver - to do the cooking!!
The Queen - every dinner party needs a posh guest!
Bryan Adams - for the after dinner entertainment (and I just love his gravelly voice lol)
John Barrowman - you can't have him Emm, he's mine!!! (and yes I do know he's gay, but hey, a girl can dream)
David Tennant - But he's have to wear his kilt (be still my beating heart)
David Cameron - just 'cause I like him
Anne Geddes - the photographer, 'cause I'd love to know how she gets those baby pics!!!
